2010 Sonoma County Fair - Best of Show Jr. Group Garden
Congratulations to our Vegetable/Gardening Group for the outstanding garden the designed for the Sonoma County Fair. The were extremely honored to win Best of Show for a Jr. Garden Group, Best Planting Design, Best use of Color with Annuals and Exhibitor Choice! Congrats to Victoria Hamilton, Ashley Corbett, William Hamilton and Travis Hutchison - Outstanding job!

Victoria just completed her final year of 4-H in 2010 and was honored at the State Leadership Conference as the Outstanding 4-H Member of Excellence. Victoria was a member of the 2007 California State Livestock Judging Team Champions. Victoria has served in many leadership roles including club officer, Sonoma County All Star and California State Ambassador. Her focus throughout her 4-H career has been leadership development, public speaking and community service. Congratulations on an outstanding 4-H Career.

Brett Morrison has been a member of Green Valley 4-H for 10 years and just completed his last year with a bang! Brett was honored at the State Leadership Conference as the Outstanding Outdoor Adventure member for his excellence in shooting sports. Brett has been an active member of the competitive shooting sports program for the last 8 years. In 2009 and 2010 he was the State Air Rifle 3 position champion and qualified for the Jr. Olympics and the National Finals. Brett was 56th in the Nation at the Jr. Olympics and his team was fourth at the national finals. Brett's focus during his 4-H years has been leadership development including teaching new members rifle skills and safety. In addition Brett was very active as an officer in our club as well as dedicated to community service. Congratulations Brett - well deserved!
